Lamp supply
I haven't purchased from this store yet but was impressed with the good collection of shades for 1940s lamps. I have my family's old '40s 3-light standing lamp and found a shade here that looks like an exact match to the original shade in memory. I'm ordering a shade as soon as I get the lamp out of my shed and take measurements.

Looking through the various collections I was pleased to see some shades that I'll be able to use to replace newer ones I got years ago to replace originals on some other old lamps. Since I found so many all in one store, I think these people are on to something good and it's worth sharing the url.

1. I'd love to find some glass slip shades

There seem to be no repros of these. The only ones available are antiques, and then never enough to do an entire five or six shade lamp. I have a few really great slip shade lamps needing only the shades. I expect my grandkids will inherit them ..... shadeless.

Just as an example, this shade is an antique .....

The shop has just two available ..... at $165 per!

3. Some slip shade lamps are as few as two
Most are odd numbers .... three and five being the most common.

Those will surely go ..... even at that high price for what appear to be very well worn shades.
