In case you are not following it, you have just one day left to bid |
|
on "the Hand of God". It is now up to $16,866.66 with 130 bidders with no brains.
This has to be one of the biggest rip offs of the decade.
Geeze, I need a gimmick!

1. I swear I'm going to paint Jesus on a frying pan and make a pancake or something. |
|
11 hours to go on that stupid thing. If the bidders are serious, that explains the Bush years.

2. 5 hours and 25 minutes left, I'm going to check in about 7PM |
|
just to see what fools do at the end. Your frying pan sounds like a good idea. I'm looking for the Virgin Mary in the spider webs in my attic. Lots of junk up there so I might find an image. Maybe I should look in the old part of my cellar, it is dirt. May be something lurking there. There is a stone foundation. Suppose I have a "Hand" too? Anyone can bid on my cellar and take it away. It should bring me enough money to have the area cemented.

3. Final $16,866.66. I just missed it by a minute. Have to wait for the |
|
next wall to be offered.
I wonder if this will go through. and we'll find out how much it cost the winner to move this pile of rubble?

5. Does that mean the buyer came to their senses & backed out? |
|
(Excuse my ignorance, but I've never bought anything on ebay & have no idea how it works.)

7. Can you do that on ebay? |
|
I got to live auctions frequently & bidders do not get to back out. I mean, I guess they could if s/he threw a big enough fit & called the credit card company to stop payment, but the auction house probably wouldn't let them play anymore.

8. It happens all the time and since you can't leave negative feedback |
|
anymore, the next seller hasn't a clue there's a deadbeat bidding. Apparently, after 3 reports of nonpayment, you get kicked off ebay. Of course, you can always get a new email address and sign up again.
