A couple of thoughts on the new space |
|
1. I hope this won't turn into a place where the common bad eBay transactions get hashed over. Non-paying bidder, that sort of stuff. That info can be found better on eBay forums. The how-tos of buying and selling are great, but please not the "I wuz robbed" stories.
2. Should we agree that this is not a marketplace where active selling or promotion of one's items goes on in the threads? There is already a marketplace on DU.

I worked there for a little over 5 years and was one of the original Showroom & Collectibles Inventory Specialists. I can explain how it works.

(Since I'm late to the party here, I'm starting at the bottom of the list, so dredging up the old posts)
Is that the place that sells individual pieces of dishes etc? I have often consulted that site to see if something is worth picking up at a thrift store.
Unfortunately, while I'm very good at picking things up, I have a problem with doing anything with them... so any motivation in that area would be great!
