has it been "stupid post day" out in GDP?? Just seems like a lot of crap on the board today. Really stupid pointless crap.

1. And not just today.

I get sick of wading through all the crap to find decent posts. I find myself spending less time than ever on DU. Threads that engage in real dialog sink like a stone & The Greatest gets cluttered up with multiple threads on the same topic. Does anyone ever search before starting a new thread? :eyes:

look for duplicates. What kills me too is, something is posted on the board, is hashed out all day and night, then finally sinks, only to have someone who wasn't on the board the day before, come in and start it all over again!

Today, I posted 3 serious things I wanted to discuss. The first thing, no one gave me an answer, but basically slammed the context of the question. Maybe 2 people actually had relevant responses, but still didn't answer the question. The other 2 post, went unanswered as well.

Oh well, I think I am just getting burned out on the mentality, which if I recall, is the reason I left before. I have a very low threshold for stupidity.

7. Yeah, you gotta weed through the crap but there are still some good,

informative posts out there.

And as to people not responding to you, the board is moving so fast, that I think lots of it is just hit or miss with the timing. I've been out there all day, and haven't seen your threads. Of course, I usually just go to "latest" which has every forum represented. Maybe if I went directly to GDP I'd better understand.

And I've posted questions like

And only gotten a response to number 1, for example.

I keep reminding myself that this is a message board - can't expect too much from its denizens.
