Joe had to have a follow up appt. today to check on his sinuses again
Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled for a medical appointment in Philadelphia today.

His staff said the appointment is a routine follow-up at the
University of Pennsylvania for the outpatient surgery he had last spring on
his sinuses.

Biden will spend the remainder of the day in private meetings
at his home in Greenville.

There was no word on whether the storm would affect his schedule.http://delawareonline.com/article/20090302/NEWS/90302026

I guess he had surgery last year on them. I have a sinus infection right now and trying to survive with antibiotics, second one this winter. Ugg, its very painful. Hopefully our VP has gotten better from his surgery last year. Nothing like the a nasty sinus headache to make someone want to stay in bad all day. :(

1. I think he had a deviated septum corrected.
I have one of those - it's a pain.

I'm sure it is just a routine follow up.

3. It's not painful - it's just a pain.
But I am too chicken to have the surgery. I have doctorphobia.

4. I don't blame you. I have diabetes and do not like going to my endocrinologist.
I only like hearing good news and I never know what they will tell me. But right now my blood sugar levels are good so they are happy with me.

5. Maybe that's why
he seemed to have problems with his eyes. That might have caused some of that puffiness around the eye area.

7. He had sinus infections all throughout the primary season
He just could not get it under control. (and the poor man was stuck in Iowa during a not so pleasant winter....what a guy!)

9. Poor thing. I have had them twice now this winter and its so painful.
I just laid down on the couch all night while my 3 and 4 year olds ran around and played. I could not do it anymore. The pain radiates down from under your eyes and into your teeth. Uggg. I hope my antibiotics kick in soon.

10. Ouch!
You have my sympathy. It is bad enough being sick, but have young children who aren't sick at the same time. Brings back memories.
