1. I'm not surprised.
He just got back from Iraq, he's working on a case involving a pediatrician that molested children, going up against Castle is going to be a tough election.

He's young - maybe next time.

2. I'm glad he's doing what he feels is best, and didn't succumb to pressure.
I'm happy he's made his decision and at least THAT dilemma is off his back!

3. And maybe he wants to take his own path
instead of following in his dad's footsteps.

4. Sure, and maybe he wants to stay in DE
and not commute to Wash DC and spend MORE time away from his family. You can't blame the cutie pie, can you? :)

5. True
He spent enough time away from his family already. It must be nice being at home.

6. I think it's a gimme
to Castle. He's old and will probably only be there one term, if he can finish that. By then the rejection storm will have moderated some and it'll be a better atmosphere for Beau. If the Senate is what he wants. We know Senators have a more difficult path to the Presidency. Governors find more light on the path. I take this as a strategic move at this time. Patience, Grasshopper, patience.

8. Governor - that would be awesome. Then he could run for President.
Hey Beau - we have HIGH hopes for you - hope you are ready, little grasshopper.
