Awww - Joe was at Arlington today to lay the wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and |
|
he was interviewed on CNN by Barbara Starr. He got all choked up, he couldn't even talk, while facing some of the families of the fallen. He spoke about how Jill was given a special prayer while Beau was over there and she read it every morning when she got up, and throughout the day.
I love them.

1. Such an openly emotional guy |
|
He certainly isn't your typical politician. Too bad there aren't more like him.

Oh god, just imagine if he DID drink. The waterworks would be going all the time.

8. Maybe that's the real reason he doesn't drink |
|
He knows how emotional he is.

3. I keep talking about that one clip (that I can't find) when Joe was running |
|
for Prez, speaking to the medical people about our servicepeople and veterans. He cares SO MUCH!
That is so touching about Jill.
I love them, too.
I didn't see the clip (I've been glued to the BP Oil Cam) but I'm going to go see if I can find it.

a lot of the campaign video clips disappeared from the Internet. They were probably removed on purpose, being he was now part of Obama's administration.

I realized it when I tried to find his fire-fighter speech that blew me away. Anything campaign related was taken down.

11. Agreed! I loved Joe's speeches when he was campaigning. |
|
Always spoke from the heart, no script needed. "Gaffes" and all - he is so down to earth, so real.

12. It is really more political |
|
Joe represents the Obama administration now, not the Biden agenda. Its a shame though. There were some really impressive speeches online.
