In terms of being a truly Latin American production, whether or not the editorial content and reporting involved is perfectly accurate at all times. It is an alternative to U.S.-centered media, though certainly not the best possible one.
I believe, however, this upcoming project should be judged based on its own merits. If it happens to be more inclusive, more independent and less tied to the specific governments involved, there's certainly a chance it could be better. Or maybe not, but only time will tell.
