Ecuador's Correa plans to visit Chávez in Cuba

Chávez's Health
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa was heading for Havana on Thursday to meet with his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chávez. "He is in a very delicate health condition," he said.

It is likely that Correa will meet with Cuban leader Fidel Castro as well. "Let us see if we have the chance of meeting with Fidel Castro, this has not been defined yet. You know, Fidel also has sort of variable health. It is delicate sometimes, so it is difficult," Correa added.

"I am going to Havana to visit President (of Venezuela Hugo) Chávez, who is in a very delicate health condition," Correa told reporters, and added that it would be a "roundtrip."

Chávez went to Cuba last Saturday, July 16, to undergo chemotherapy after being removed a cancerous tumor from the pelvic area.

2. Nice photo. The Castros have been given a lot of respect with visits
from so many leaders once the fear of US retaliation subsided with the election of so many people's leaders they couldn't overthrow them all the way they used to do.

It's always interesting seeing the latest images of the leaders who make their trips to Havana.

Wouldn't have seen it without your post.
