I really don't care that Herman Cain is a perverted pig. |
|
I care that he's a ridicuously unqualified douchebag who has no business being even this close to the White House. Republican voters are showing their shallowness and stupidity yet again by supporting this ass. Every candidate they back is even more embarrassing than the last. Bush, Palin, and now Cain? They could run Pauly Shore for president and he'd be an immediate hit with these guys.

3. What pisses me off about the allegations is the hypocrisy |
|
6 months ago they forced a Congressman to resign over a couple of pictures, a decade ago they impeached a president over a blow job.
Now they defend this wacko after 3 maybe 4 women have come forward with allegations of misconduct and his donations have risen and poll numbers stayed the same.
Where are the calls for him to step aside? chirp....................... chirp
The hypocrisy is what really stands out here.

It's disgusting and humiliating to be harassed sexually by someone who has power over you. Women feel shame and a great deal anger at people who don't care because it doesn't happen to them. How would you feel if your mother or sister or daughter was sexually harassed by her boss?

This is the part that frustrates the hell out of me.
Politics is one thing -- but what this man did is terrible. That he is running for the office of President makes it far worse.
If people have a hard time understanding this, I have two words:
NOT CONSENSUAL

9. I don't know whether to laugh or puke in disgust. |
|
I DO care that he's a pervert. But, I am not sure whether to laugh or cringe over the rank hypocrisy coming from the far-right. I remember how outraged, just outraged, I tell you, they were when such allegations came up in 1992 against Bill Clinton. And, subsequently, wtih the Monica Lewdinsky affair. Hell, they even started a whole industry promoting "Character First", in which my pukehole hometown still participates.
1992: "This sexual harasser is not fit to be President." 1998: "OMG! He got a blow job! Impeach him!" 2011: "Our guy sexually harasses women? Meh. No big deal. It's not important." IOKIYAAR. Same shit, different day.

because this man, who actually thinks he is presidential material, decided that his erection was more important that the course of their whole lives. Arrogant, selfish, liar.
