Gillibrand's jumped in to stop Congressional insider trading... |
|
attempts to stop this in the past didn't end well, but now Kirsten Gillibrand's giving it a shot by authoring a bill, according to the local nooze. The 60 Minutes segment really set her off-- claims she's kinda new at this and didn't even know they were getting away with it until she saw it on TV. (Could it be she's really so clean no one would let her in on the trick?)
She's also big on transparency over earmarks and campaign cash-- the sort of thing most Senators tend to back off from.
Let's see how she does.

3. I agree. Gillibrand 2016, I think. |

I speak from experience--I've met her four times, and worked with a bunch of her people. She is really, really awesome.
