Desired: Palin filter

Hi, I would like to request the ability to filter out threads that have the word "Palin" in the title... really pings me off that people are giving that woman so much attention!

Can I get an option somewhere that says "ignore Palin threads"? Thanks!

1. I am sympathetic. But currently there is no way to do this.

Hopefully we aren't going to have more reason to talk about her in the new year.

I can do the change for you... it'll look like this:

if(UserOptions->PalinFilter()==true) {

$thread_select_clause .=" AND subject NOT LIKE '%Palin%';

}



and you can just add .$thread_select_clause to the SQL statement that retrieves the threads.

Add one field to the user options table "nopalin" and a radio button in the profile options... it's for a good cause!
