What is happening to spell check?
Sometimes it works, at other times it

Shows a blank popup

shows a proper screen, but doesn't work

shows a proper screen and tries to work, but freezes.

I haven't heard any other reports of this but I'll pass your bug report on to Elad. What browser/OS are you using?

3. I'm not aware of any issues with spellcheck
It could be your browser, maybe try updating your javascript software and do a virus/spyware scan?
