I did NOT go over just to insult them. I COULD have stayed in The Lounge to do that. I didn't say the majority nor a
generic "folks in GD". Can ANYONE deny that there are too many (5, 20, 1500 -- who knows?) folks in GD who are just
vicious and mean-spirited?

I talk with too many reasonable folks who avoid GD (and GD is deprived of their potential contributions) because of
the nasty nature and combativeness and meanness of the "far far too many folks" who DO behave in this manner.

Some of the folks in GD DO need a mirror into which to look -- and perhaps a learning experience or two about
civility. THAT was my point, albeit presented in a humorous fashion.

There was a comment in here recently about how perhaps the diminishing of the mean-spirited diatribes would also
mean a diminishing of the hits on this site. At the time, I scoffed. Not so much now.
