Notification of post moved to other forum

There are times when a post is moved from one forum to another, like LBN to GD or GD to Lounge. When that occurs, can the OP get a message saying why?

There are times when people flag it and times when the mod just decides to move it. I think a message would be nice so they know why.

1. There is always a placeholder left behind when a thread is moved

so that people can see where it existed before it was moved, and follow the link to its new location. However, as you point out, we don't inform the OP that the thread has been moved. I agree that this would be a nice feature to have; unfortunately we won't be implementing it because we're focusing all our efforts on DU3 and aren't making any more upgrades to DU2. For what it's worth, on DU3 this will not be an issue since we don't plan to have functionality that allows threads to be moved.
