Editing locked when Mods require an edit? |
|
Hi all!
Got my first "edit your thread" notification tonight. I edited it and resubmitted, but realized I screwed up the div tag rendering a huge chunk of the post 'missing'. I then tried to edit the post, but was told it was now locked and to contact the administrators with questions, so here I am.
Is this a system issue? Should we preview before submitting once a post is flagged for length in case we need to edit?

1. After you submit your edit, the post should not be locked. |
|
And you should be able to edit again.
Unless you were sent two edit requests from the moderators on the same post. When that happens, you lose the ability to edit again and you just have to delete it.

No - just one and for length/copyright, not offensive content |
|
It was only about 6 minutes or so after posting IIRC.
I will just plan to review rather than submit if it happens again.
Thanks.
