What ELSE is Romney hiding? |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-18-12 10:59 AM by No Elephants
He was a bully in high school.
He put his kids sick pet to the roof of his car and left him there for hours while he drove to Canada at heaven only knows what speed.
He has offshore bank accounts.
He froze his partners at Bain out of Bain Capital, including Mr. Bain himself.
He bankrupted Bank of New England in order to cut a better deal from the FDIC on a loan settlement.
He tried to cheat Utah or Massachusetts out of a bit of state taxes--chump change for him at the time, really. So he may be a felon.
He either lied to the SEC or to American voters about when he ceased being sole stockholder of Bain. So he may be a felon. (Hey, Foxworthy, "he just may be a felon" could be your next multi-million dollar punch line--if you were honest.)
He managed to retire "retroactively."
He lied about being to the left of Kennedy when he ran against Kennedy.
He appears to have admitted lying about Masschusetts residency in order to run for Governor.
He lied about his positions when he ran for Governor of Massachusetts.
He lied about marching with Martin Luther King, Jr. and never admitted he lied, saying instead something ridiculous lie he thought he marched with him.
He lied about pulling over to the road while on the way to school (Harvard) to cry because he was so touched when ge heard on his car radio that the Mormon Church finally changed its policy on people with dark skin. (He had been graduated several years earlier. And I am skeptical that he learned of this via a car radio anyway.)
He lied about hunting.
At various times, he's lied about whether he was pro life or pro choice. (Kennedy: Rommey's multiple choice."
He lies about being caring and compassionate.
He lies about Obama's positions.
He won't show his tax returns.
He won't tell us who his bundlers are.
He won't get specific about his positions.
He won't tell us with any specificity what he will do if elected.
He says insincere things, like "I want everybody to be in the 1%."
Hell, he doesn't even use his real first name.
I'm even willing to bet my home that his wife lied about his being hilarious. (She did not give a single example and people who are hilarious in private are rarely as wooden and humorless and souless in public as is our Willard.)
(Feel free to supplement this. I can't possibly have covered everything.)
So, what else is Romney hiding? I welcome both serious and silly guesses. .

1. he's got a laundry list for sure! |
|
thinks 47% of Americans are lazy leeches living off gov't money (someone better let the govt workers in DC and the military know they're leeches) takes the extremist position, as just released from clips of that 47% video, that "Palestinians do not want peace anyway"... and yeah, he's about as funny as a hangnail. Get it here ---> http://www.zazzle.com/what_is_mitt_hiding_romney_bumper_sticker-128087600293857910?rf=238107662556833486

3. He is one of the 47%! Please see my "Good morning, fellow victims" thread. |
|
I'd get you the link, but I am working with a very cranky borrowed laptop while mine is in the shop for repair.
He is never funny why he is trying to be funny. When he is not trying to be funny, I laugh at what he says and does quite often. Gallows humor, to be sure, but I always enjoy a hearty laugh, no matter how rueful. They oxygenate the body.
I think Proverbs says the Lord loves a merry countenance or something to that effect. So, Mitt helps me in my spiritual walk, too.
Whadda guy!

2. Romney is like a comic book villain that |
|
would make Stan Lee proud. Same with Karl Rove, Chris Christie, Ted Nugent, Richard Chenney and Limbaugh. The American right is full of these villainous characters just like the early 1930s Nazi Germany political Party was.
Just another little warning, people, but the prevalence of these far right villains is no coincidence.

4. Don't many people blame the rise of Hitler on the economic problems of Germans post World War I, |
|
thanks to an onerous World War I "peace" treaty?
When they had to take wheelbarrows of money to shop for groceries? (Or so I've heard commentators say. That may be hyperbolic and/or apocryphal.)
Which reminds me, I may invest in a wheelbarrow. Global warming deniers have been buying up farmable land all over the globe. Gee, I wonder what food will cost in another five or so years.
