FL Gov (aka Skeletor) refuses to meet with the FL Pediatric Society over ACA changes |
|
this arrogant gov has been horrible for Floridians, and sure seems to want to rule FL outside of the passed US law, as he doesn't want any part of the ACA. SEE STORY HERE: http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/09/27/3022667/pediatricians-florida-state-officials.html

2. Hey E, yeah, I think it's a dual project. one, to make his ACA appear so bad for the people of FL |
|
(and other states where they're pulling these shameful actions) that Floridians can't dare have it be implemented because the president is trying to control people's every decision, and two, to make Obama appear as unsuccessful as possible in making change that he promised. We all felt around DU2 that Shrub had ruined the repubs for the next decade, but, the repubs felt if they could lay the problems on Obama, and put up a constant roadblock to his policy requests, that he would be the one they could claim made the nation suffer and a repub would have been able to fix what he hasn't in full yet.

3. Republicans have been cosying up to doctors for decades. |
|
Well, really the lobbysists hired by the AMA and insurance companies that sell medical malpractice insurance.
But, it seems to the general public that Republicans are protecting individual doctors.
Remember Dummya's touching (no pun intended) comment about doctors who wanted to show their love to their female patients? That was part of it, as is the penchant Republicans have had for tort "reform" for years.
As a result, a lot of doctors are staunch Republicans.
So, now, a Republican Governor is telling a group of doctors to take a walk? Doctors who tread kids, no less.
