British doctors found pro-NHS party

LONDON, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Two doctors announced the formation Thursday of National Health Action, a new political party aimed at protecting Britain's National Health Service.

The founders and supporters appeared outside the Parliament buildings in London, the Daily Mirror reported. One woman held a photograph of Aneurin Bevan, the longtime Labor Party leader who presided over the creation of the NHS as minister of health in the 1940s.

The party plans to field at least 50 candidates in the 2015 parliamentary election, organizers said. They said they will not run in districts where the incumbent shares their views on the NHS but do plan to put up candidates against Prime Minister David Cameron, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt and former Health Secretary Andrew Lansley.

The chairs of the group are Dr. Clive Peedell, a cancer specialist, who is quoted in the article, and Dr. Richard Taylor, who was an independent in Parliament from 2001 to 2010.

With my dying breath, if I am in possession of my faculties, I will curse conservatives, both Republican conservatives and Democratic conservatives. Heck, why wait? Fuck you all.

1. I am so with you on the "conservatives".
Market-driven heath policies are the absolute wrong way to go. Citizens of Britain should resist this trend with all their might.

This entire move is motivated by the desire to obtain more wealth for the few at the expense of the many. A market heath care system can not even approach the efficiency and effectiveness of a government system.
