Oh, I need to share how much I HATE Silverlight. |

Maybe it's my 4-year-old Dell XP laptop, but it seems like the Silverlight player blows up on me about once a month or so and it won't reinstall from Microsoft and I can't uninstall it b/c the add/remove programs utility freezes on me. I use an app called Windows Install Clean Up to bypass this problem and get a clean install from Netflix, but it's just a supreme PITA.

Sometimes it will say my internet connection has slowed and it takes forever to correct the problem. I usually just reload the movie which takes a lot less time. I'm on a Mac so that might make a difference.

But my shitty internet connection really has slowed. Amazingly, since it stopped raining last week, I've been able to watch a movie without rebuffering every 8 minutes. Of course that reason may be the ComCast guys stringing cable up my hill rather than the rain. When the Comcast trucks appeared my ATT DSL connection mysteriously improved.
