A brilliant PBS miniseries - oldie but goodie - Jewel in the Crown |

Based on the Raj Quartet novels by Paul Scott - made in 1984 - about the final days of the British Raj in India during WWII. Wonderful acting, looking a bit aged (as far as video quality), but fascinating - we've now watched it three different times over the past 10 years and it never fails to captivate.
It is not streamable (yet) - so we get the Netflix DVDs - four of them, 3-4 45 minute episodes each.
