So, adult Halloween revelers, what costume will you be sporting this year ?
ATM I'm not planning to do Halloween, but I know many adults do. IMHO nothing beats the giant penis costume in San Francisco in 1989, that someone else was wearing. Laughed my ass off

Florida condominium owners in danger of losing their homes are making a final desperate plea, hoping that Gov. Rick Scott will intervene.
These owners are not in foreclosure, nor are they behind on their mortgages. Instead they are being threatened by a group of developers, Madison Oaks Partners, who are using a Florida state law originally designed to protect homeowners from natural disaster, to terminate the condominium agreement and force them to sell their units.
The developers seek to convert the Tampa area complex into more lucrative rental apartments. They could take over the complex at a board meeting Sept. 5.
"The governor needs to step in and halt these forced terminations immediately. We don't have much time," said Stephanie Krasowski, one of the remaining owners at the Madison Oaks complex. Krasowski, who like others, bought her unit at the peak of the last housing boom, has led the fight against the developers, starting a group that now represents more than 1,000 Florida condominium owners.
It may be perfectly legal under Florida law, but I find this pretty horrible. YMMV. Governor Voldemort will probably not give a rats's ass.

Hello, I'm Steve and I have HelloKittyPTSD
Should I petition Skinner for a new group ? My world has crumbled.
(yes PTSD is a very serious condition, which deserves compassion and much better public funding and research)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct a no refusal enforcement campaign this Labor Day weekend.
It goes into effect at Midnight Friday, Aug. 29 and concludes at Midnight Monday, Sept. 1.
The no refusal campaign means that if a driver is pulled over for suspected drinking and driving they cannot refuse to take a blood test. It allows law enforcement to seek search warrants for blood samples if they suspect someone is driving while impaired.
Law enforcement officials have another tool to utilize to deter impaired driving and reduce fatal crashes on Tennessee roadways by conducting no refusal' enforcements, THP Colonel Tracy Trott said.

So they can strap someone down and draw blood against their will ? I'm not a civil rights lawyer, but this seems illegal to me.
ETA:
Even with a judge's consent, this just seems pretty extreme.

Approval for involuntary blood draws is typically attained via telephone as judge magistrates will remain on standby throughout the weekend to handle officers requests.

The Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) are demanding action from Fox News after a host linked all Muslims to terrorists and advocated for violence against practitioners of the faith.
In an August 27 statement, the Asian American Journalist Association condemned Fox co-host Andrea Tantaros for making blanket statements conflating all Muslims to the Islamic State and advocating for violence against them. AAJA called on the network to apologize:
The AAJA joined the Muslim Public Affairs Council in their outrage over the offensive Fox segment. MPAC previously called for the network to fire Tantaros following her inflammatory statements.

AAJA calls for Tantaros and Fox News to apologize for the irresponsible, inflammatory statements. We also call on Fox News to discourage its journalists from making blanket comments that serve to perpetuate hate and Islamophobia.
Muslims and Islam are not interchangeable terms with terrorists or ISIS. We in the media know better and must be vigilant in our choice of words.
