You cannot have a gun in any place that serves alcohol in Ohio.

Can't even go to a rock concert anymore without having to worry about some lunatic with a gun shooting the place.

Or a knife, or some other weapon. Have you ever seen the Rolling Stones movie Gimme Shelter? That happened in 1969. It's not just concerts, you are in some danger at any public venue.

But this kind of incident makes me wonder if, like a bunch of bad children, the guns shouldn't be taken away from the American people until they prove they're mature enough to use them again.

The problem with that idea is that once the government has the power to decide subjectively which of us is mature enough to have a gun, it will inevitably decide that nobody is mature enough. The OBjective system we have now (age 18 for long guns, 21 for handguns, no record of violent crime, etc.) is fine if properly enforced.
