30. Ah yes!
Many times I went to Cripple Creek. When I left Colorado Springs in 1951 to go into the service. The town was around 18-20 thousand, or around there, the main big street was Tejon. I don't care for the town any more. But I loved it as I rememberd it as a child. My father still lives in the Springs and was last back there when Mom died two years ago.

It was a strong right wing town long as I can remember. My grandparent and folks are or were all very far to the right. Needless to say I never fit in, as they thought I was crazy. And if I am crazy, then so be it.
