31. My wife worked for Tiller and it was some experience
My wife was a student at Wichita State during that time and worked part time for Tiller. All the time she would leave work to find that our car had been vandelized while she was at work. One time someone dumped an entire load of used condoms inside the driver's side. Another time all our tires were slit when she came out from work and the car had "baby killer" spray painted on it in several places. Eventually Tiller hired a full time security service to monitor outside. My wife quit before it started getting really bad.

She used to have the worst stories about the poor girls who came to the clinic (and indeed it was frequently if not virtually always girls under 18). There were many Arab girls who were flown in from the Mid East by their parents--without the abortion these girls faced stoning or death even more horrific if they would give birth in their fundamentalist Muslim country. May time the girls had hidden their pregnancy until it absolutely couldn't be hidden anymore.

I have to admit however that I heard some stories about the actual abortions themselves that gave me pause. One way or another it is just a bad situation. Few if any of these girls or their families wanted to have an abortion. One thing on which I do agree with the anti-choice people about is that when it gets to this point it is a tragedy.
