5. It's the fight for the right.
This isn't about Massachusetts in 2006. It's about the country in 2008. Every GOP 2008 hopeful is trying to be the guy who's the farthest to the right, thinking that will get him the lunatic fundie votes.

Frankly, I wish him luck. I'd like to see them nominate someone who leans so far to the right, he's falling over. I think the country is fed up with that crap.
