I was disappointed to see the apparent inroads Shrub and co. had made with Hispanics in '04 but it looks like too many of the knuckle-dragger 'pugs let their racist true colors show in the discussions of the illegal immigration issue that Karl Rove and his boys were so antsy to have be the major issue of this elections season. That one seems to have backfired on them.

One funny thing with the poll: I'm surprised there are a decent percentage who are a member of a party that don't feel best represents them. I'm biased, but I guess I can say to an extent, a Hispanic person who votes Repug due to strong views on abortion or another particular issue but still acknowledges that the Dems best represent their interests. But I'm trying to figure out why someone would consider themself to be a Dem but claim the Repugs best represent their interests...
