Analysis noted by posters above indicate there is no statistically significant correlation between "Belief in Hell" and Corruption. But there is a significant correlation between high corruption and low GDP. So their premise is just false, and characteristic of the penchant for bending truth to fit ideology that permeates this administration.

Friends, we are in the final days of the new counter-enlightenment. Bring out the guillotine!
