And according to my Dad, there's NO WAY Bush drops Cheney, unless Cheney actually has legitimite health problems. It would be seen as the "flip-flop" that the Bush team has hammered Kerry for. Despite his recent criticism of Bush, I've heard Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel is a favorite for 2008- the GOP really wants to move away from the far-right, and appeal to more moderate voters down the road. My '08 I think most would agree that McCain would be too old for POTUS.
