...stated such severe doubts about Iraqi WMDs that they would have caused any RATIONAL person to halt miltary preparations for an attack on Iraq. But somewhere along the way, the UNCLASSIFIED version of the NIE found it's way to the top levels and this version had gotten rid of ALL of the CIA's actual findings in regards to no WMDs in Iraq.

The real CIA report DID indeed reveal the truth...but it was one the NeoCons could not and would not accept. The real culprit here is the OSP and others working with them. They were in a position to make the changes to the CIA's classified report to support the NeoCon's point of view.

Additionally, Woodward made a big deal out of placing Tenet at Crawford proclaiming "slam dunk" in regards to the presence of Iraqi WMDs. But the source of that information came from NeoCons with a vested interest in pushing the war on Iraq.

How can we make anyone listen to anything if we're not willing to dig deep enough to find REAL facts instead of the crap fed to us by the captive mainstream media?
