47. Shrubya accent is NOT a real Southwestern accent at all. I'm not even
from here (TX where I now live), but spent enough time working with people from TX and OK in the military and now living and working among TX natives, the Southwestern accent is distinctive.

Shrubya's is clearly a cultivated affectation. But because people here mostly want to believe it (like Moonbeam's kid's teacher), it works, so far...
