The Weinsteins only hold the distribution rights. They went to Lions Gate to distribute it, but Lions Gate has nothing to really gain from it besides a bit fo the revenue generated. They have no rights to it or any rights to distribute it on video. Last I heard, Disney of all places was getting the video rights. Ha.
