49. Damnit... can't our leaders be forthright?!

I think Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie grin and rub their hands together when they hear discourses like Obama was involved in today. I can hear them gleefully congratulating one another on just how "cowed and groveling we've got those Dems. They're really backed into a corner now, aren't they? They've really fallen into our trap. We are the masters of intimidation. See, we don't even have to lift a finger to convince the American people there's no difference in the parties... and of course you know what that means... Hah, hah, hah... they'll vote for our boy for sure!" That's more likely the dialog between those two knaves.

No I don't think these kinds of posts where disenfranchised Democrats (who really represent the party's base) speak their minds about how their weak-kneed representatives have sold us out are what are thrilling Rove and Gillespie... it's rather the way they have our Dem leaders over the proverbial barrel. They love to hear the kind of stuff Obama said today.
