You can tell that the two have become very close and have a lot of respect for each other.

Gen. Clark was my guy in the Primaries but I don't want to think about any "what ifs?" anymore. We have a great ticket, one that Wes is strongly behind. Wes gave one of the best speeches of the convention. He is 100% behind this ticket and so am I.

We have not seen the last of Wes! He is a star and the Dems will make sure they put his great talents to use!
