they don't really have anyone else.

the county will be too sick of the Bushes, so no to Jeb
Rudy is too liberal to win the nomination
ditto for Pataki, plus he's unpopular in NY now and probably will go down in 2006
Frist is just boring, and most conservatives are pissed at the job he's doing as majority leader
A Mormon could never win the nomination, so scratch Romney

One other name I've heard thrown around is Santorum. That would virtually guarantee a Kerry landslide.
