9. I would LOVE to see that!
McCain may be a stronger candidate, but a surprise nominee at the convention??? That would be way too much fun. What, the Repub party would basically have to repudiate TeamBush? McCain would pull us out of Iraq? Balance the budget? (well, he might do that.) Roll back the tax cuts? Undo the Medicare fiasco? Join the ICC?

For him to get any traction, the 'Pubs would have to repudiate much of what they have sold us for the past 3 years. I am confident Swift Boat Captain Kerry would look forward to that battle.

But then again, I was kind of secretly holding out hope that we would -surprise!- nominate Howard Dean. :-)
