56. Carville missed alot
the Afghan women's vote...many women were not allowed to vote because of their family (ie men in their family), or were told who to vote for. Afghanistan may not be under complete Taliban rule anymore, but the culture for women is DEFINITELY not free. This isn't a movie, that the cavalry rides in and saves the day. It will be a long, long time before women there will be treated with respect, or as equals.

Falwell: "God is getting the short straw". Um...I thought he was omnipotent?

Re: the sex ed programs whatever the conservative commentator's name was...passing out condoms doesn't mean they'll be used. (in response to STD's on the rise) Many are too embarrassed to ask for one, or buy them, especially if they're from conservative families.

All the misinformation regarding the sex ed programs (ie masturbating can make you pregnant). Yet he didn't point out that masturbation could HELP many teens stay abstinent, to get some relief from some very overpowering feelings. (I know, Falwell probably would have cut that down)

What a bunch of hooey. I hate that damn bell. How can you have a debate like that?

Towards the end of the show Carville started to get into gear, but it took quite awhile.
