Kerry campaign gave them some cash. But I have a hard time pointing a finger directly at Kerry. Someone on his campaign was handling the finances. I don't know if Kerry got daily updates on their financial situation. He was running around from one end of the country to another trying to pull off an election victory.

Did the DNC ever come to him and ask if he would help out?
I don't know.

Was Kerry supposed to call around to all the hundreds of candidates out there and ask them if they needed help?
I don't know.

Did any of them approach him directly and ask for assistance?
I don't know.

If any candidate did ask for help, did he turn them down?
I don't know.

Was Kerry aware of any specific situations where he could have helped?
I don't know.
