kids (unlike in my day)who actively go aroung LOUDLY proclaiming that they have taken the virginity pledge. Frankly, even in those days I would never have discussed my sexual life - or lack of one. But I never met anyone who announced they were taking a virginity pledge either- I graduated in '78

As a parent, I want my children educated about sexual matters in a responsible manner - I'm all for sex ed. I want my daughters on birth control once they have a serious boyfriend. I refuse to forget what it's like to be a teenager.
