The Robertson spectacle seems to just be picking up steam actually.

Hardball and Countdown both had big segments on it with everyone outraged and saying the WH is going to have to come out with more then the lame response they gave today.

Someone said that Bush needs to make a statement himself. This is going to be a big deal all around the world in the Middle East, and in South and Central America. A very bad blunder and it will be the first test for Karen Hughes. So far, her reaction has been quite crappy.

It always takes a couple of days for these stories to really reach a full boil.

No one seemed to know how the rest of the world was playing this yet but they were worried about Al Jazera (sp?), etc. Once Al Jazera and the rest of the world are running with the story, that will add fuel to the story here. They mentioned the FCC penalties, resigning his religious position, etc.
