:shrug: I was watching a Tom Brokaw special earlier this evening on the Sundance Channel about Deep Throat and I think it was him who talked about how some members of Congress were being blackmailed. But some members of Congress, didn't say what party, were blackmailed to vote the president's way or they would've been politically suicide. I think it was on this special. But they would say "I know about this girlfriend" or "I know about what you've been doing" etc. and they'd vote the president's way because these very very high officials could find things out from the FBI or something like that. Sometimes I wonder myself. I know Conyers, Waters, Kennedy and Kerry have all spoken out. Kennedy at one point was the only person who was vocal. Durbin was on the CNN "Dead Wrong" special and the only democrat I saw on there. :shrug: It is strange indeed. Why isn't Harry Reid, Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy or any other high profile democrat screaming from the roof tops??? Not even Barbara Boxer is around! Now that I'm really surprised. :shrug:
