6. Won't happen ... yet
The disruption in oil supplies will be a major economic pain, but will not stop all transport. Those oil pipelines and platforms don't supply all of the oil, just a large enough chunk of it to hurt. Store shelves won't go bare, but there will be spot shortages. There will be inflation and gas prices will soar, but there will be gasoline.

However ... in the long run, your scenario is probably going to be more accurate than you know.
