The situation is far less disadvantageous to us here (notice how I didn't say it is advantageous, just less disadvantageous) and I don't see a complete destruction of a major U.S. ground element at the hands of the opposition forces.

A Tet happening here? Perhaps; a Beirut happening here? Perhaps; a Mogadishu happening here? Perhaps. But a Dien Bien Phu? No.
