It's important for us to keep this in mind if the party wants to expand its base in non African American minority communities, especially Asian and Latino. Plus Jindal, being a loony right wing republican, is quite the exception. We have a large pool of talent to choose from.

Anyways this is definetely good news for the party. Loosing these gubernatorial races 0-4 woulda been horrible. Also, this shows some signs of life for democratic chances in atleast this one state next year (assuming we have a strong candidate).
