...is REALLY in the Marines? I didn't get his name, but it might be an interesting research project for someone with journalistic resources beyond Google.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out that was an O'Reilly-ism, a fiction cobbled up on the spur of the moment in order to grasp at the moral high-ground, but actually complete bullshit. It could be true, of course, but given that it was Fax I certainly don't believe it merely on the guy's word.
