26. I wash my down comforter in my regular home washer, my procedure
Edited on Fri Jul-16-04 11:22 AM by Demonaut
is, Put comforter in washer and fill on rinse mode, let it spin to squeeze out most of the air, then refill on wash with warm water, monitoring the level of air still in the comforter and squeezing out by hand as much as possible, after the wash it goes in the dryer with a couple of old shoes cased in athletic socks to fluff it back out, usually I have to tape the door shut to stop the shoes from beating the door open. I have a cat who loves to pee on my comforters, or any cloth for that matter.
