14. NH has started to manage some bodies of water for wild trout.
If they keep with it we will have more opportunities to catch native, wild fish. Not the factory produced fish tossed into the rivers in order to keep the license money flowing into the state. If we hadn't so screwed up the ecosystem to begin with the state wouldn't have to mass produce fish for people to catch. Ill stop the rant there, because I could go on forever. It is a particular pet peeve of mine.

I haven't fished the Ammonoosuc in a while. I've been spending more time in the "back country." Smaller streams further in away from the crowds. The fish are generally smaller, but there are fewer people, the fish are more likely to be wild, or at least native and for me at least, the experience is better.
