The Clinton economy was just so weak and on such a downturn that there was no way Bush could recover in a measly 8 years. Therefore, we must restore the economy by increasing presidential term limits indefinitely, because Bush's policy will only start working after 16 to 20 years :). I'm all for it.

If I hear "we're making progress" or "we've turned the corner" on this topic in 4 years, I honestly think my head will explode.
