I applied for temporary parking space in the building's downstairs garage because my ankle is fubar (nope, still don't know what's wrong with it). I had a note from my doctor that says I can't walk much and I can't stand at all. That wasn't good enough.

The HR chicky called and said it wasn't good enough. Offered me space in "a nearby garage" which is only 1/2 block closer from my own garage.

There was a lot more to it than this but CHRIST, I nearly lost my mind.

So did my doc. She's sending them a new note that states the fact that I can't take more than 2-3 steps without extreme pain.
