I have a friend in Mosul. He just barely, by minutes, avoided being in the mess hall when the explosion occured the other day.

Did your friend say his calls and emails are being limited? My friend's are - he said just about all the contractors packed up and left after the explosion and that's why it's taken so long to reach home.

I have to say, hearing from him today was the best Christmas present we could have received. We've been so worried about him. I've never known anyone in combat before. I will keep your friend in my thoughts; I want all of our troops to come home now. :cry:
